Containership Shipping Vehicles Cracks in Two!

MOL Mitsui O.S.K. Lines has confirmed that the containership MOL Comfort has broken in two pieces while shipping cars and vehicles.

The MV MOL Comfort, an 8,000 TEU-type containership split in two about 200 miles from the Yemeni coast while en route from Singapore to Jeddah with a load of 7,041 TEUs. All 26 crew – made up 14 Filipinos, 11 Russians and 1 Ukrainian - escaped the ship on life rafts and a lifeboat.
